Varsity Coach Kelly Meenan

Please welcome Kelly Meenan as new head coach of the Peters Township field hockey program! Kelly been an assistant coach  for the past 5 years and is excited to transition to the new role of head coach.Kelly is from Lancaster County, PA where she first picked up a field hockey stick at 11 years old. She was a 3sport athlete in high school playing soccer, field hockey and winter track. After deciding to stick with field hockey in college, Kelly played 4 years at Messiah University. During that time, she was a 3 year starter, 2 time All Conference and 1 time All Region recipient. Messiah won the MAC Conference championship all 4 years and made it to the NCAA Division III Final Four and Championship games.After graduating with a degree in social work Kelly married her husband, Brian Meenan and  lived in Upstate, NY while Brian completed his doctorate degree in chiropractic. After he graduated, they moved back to the Pittsburgh area where Brian has since opened up his own practice called Premier Chiropractic with locations in Mt Lebanon and McMurray. They live in South Fayette with two boys Beckam and Brooks  and two labs Tucker and Ryder. "I am extremely passionate about field hockey and began coaching in 2017 at the Peters Middle School program. In 2018 I moved up to the high school program and have been there ever since. I have a lot of love for this sport and my goal for the program is to teach the girls how to work hard and have fun enjoying the sport that means so much to me!"

Assistant Coach Greta Schratz

Greta Schratz comes from a family that loves field hockey having 3 sisters that all played at Peters Township and continued on to play at the Division 1 level. She was a four-year letter winner at Peters Township High School and a team captain. She was named an All-Section in 2017 and 2018 and was an All-WPIAL selection at the conclusion of the 2018 season. She played club field hockey for Pittsburgh Venom from 2010-2018. She also played D1 collegiate field hockey for one season at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA in 2019. She continued her education at West Penn Hospital School of Nursing, where she obtained her nursing diploma. As she get ready to start her career in the health field, she cannot wait for the season ahead filled with many wins and memories to come!

JV Coach Madison Devine

Maddie Devine is a 2019 Peters Township graduate . During her time at Peters, she was a four year member of both the field hockey and lacrosse teams. After high school, she continued her education at Washington & Jefferson College where she majored in Business Administration and German, and was a four year member of the Women’s Division III Field Hockey team.  Maddie was captain of the Presidents her senior year.  She was a 4 year National Field Hockey Coaches Association DIII Scholar of Distinction as well as on the Empire Presidents List . In 2023, Maddie was also the W&J representative for ECAC Sportswoman of the Year.  "I have been very fortunate to have been able to continue playing the sport I loved for at W&J and I hope to share my knowledge and experience of the game with the PTFH program! "
